"The way Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck sees it, the month between the end of OTAs and the start of training camp is a very important one. So even though the Titans won't have the benefit of coaches guiding them during that period, Hasselbeck will be spending quite a bit of time on the football field. He and second-year quarterback Jake Locker plan to bring a number of the Titans wide receivers and tight ends up to the state of Washington during that open period, which should help all involved stay sharp right up until training camp begins in late July. One player who's almost certain to make the journey is undrafted free agent tight end Brandon Barden. Hasselbeck said Barden's girlfriend just happens to be Hasselbeck's neighbor in Washington."
