http://theshadowlands.net/places/Scroll down and find your state, and you can find your city in the list. There is some crazy stuff going on - I never really believed in ghosts or any of that supernatural stuff, but in some of the places you actually get arrested or ticketed for trespassing because of how dangerous it is.
Williamsport - Allison's Grave - in south side near Duboistown on Mosquito Valley Road. Woman who was killed in plane crash who was decapitated is often seen, her head was never found. Me and my friends used to go there all the time and look at her actual tombstone. We never seen anything...
That was a pretty good read. But I've been around some of those areas and seen nothing at night. So it's interesting but I don't know what to make of it.
Lisle - Benidictine University - There have been sightings of a little boy running around campus in a blue tee-shirt and a pair of shorts no matter what the weather, then just disappears. In one of the dorm buildings there is a heavy presence. They actually closed that dorm down now... Then there is Benidictine hall. All some of the janitors will not even go up to the 4th floor to clean it. A priest is supposed to haunt that floor. There are also underground tunnels under the campus that are also haunted. weird..I know people who have claimed that happened.. like theyve seen that ghost
holy sh*t that's weird. I never expected both of boern'es haunted places to be on there. they really did their research.also, it considers san antonio to be one of the most haunted cities in texas. I read some of those and it seems pretty creepy. I want to try the train tracks thing. "San Antonio - Villa Main Railroad Tracks - Haunted by the children killed in a 1930's fatal school bus accident. The bus reportedly stalled on the tracks and was consequently hit by a train, killing all in the bus. It is said that if you pull your car onto those tracks, the children will push your car over the tracks to safety. Baby powder placed the bumper of the endangered car is said to show the handprints of the small children. "
Whoa, That freaked me out man. Good thing Eaton's closed down in Winnipeg. Woulda freaked me out even more if it were still up.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Memphis - <span style="color:#000000">The Orpheum Theatre - Several definitive accounts of Mary, the ghost of the Orpheum Theatre exist in the archives of Memphis Magazine, in It Happened in Tennessee and in the published history of the Orpheum. The ghost of a little girl, Mary, haunts this theatre. She has a favorite seat during performances. Some people believe that she is the ghost of a girl who died when the original Orpheum burned, but no one was reported to have been killed, and others believe she was killed near the Orpheum on Beale Street. She is not a malicious ghost, actually very shy, and enjoys the playing of the organ (where she has appeared several times.</span></div> Huh, this right here is foreal. I went with my dad late at night there(he was working on a job there) and it was about 10:00, and you could here little giggles and crap. But ive heard different from what it says above. What Ive always though was she got hit by a nearby train(which exists still today). Its probably the most famous ghost story of Memphis. Well, the Elvis one might be up there.

You're supposed to escape, but you run into a bunch of crap - it was soooo scary.
Philadelphia - Eastern State Penitentiary - Eastern State is haunted by hundreds of prisoners that have been executed, beaten to death, or committed suicide. The most famous sighting is of a prisoner that killed 27 people in an attempted prison break. Reports of feelings of someone there, and dread, strange sounds and shadows or apparitions. -----This place is one of the most famous haunted houses in the country. THat Sci-Fi show Ghost Hunters went there to investigate for one of there shows and caught some weird footage. Anyways, they had a haunted house there this year. It seemed so cool. Me and my girlfriend thought we were going to be able to walk through this prison, so we drove to Philly to go. We get there and pay the 30 dollars each for admission. We start going in the "haunted house" and it barely went inside of the prison at all. It was more of a haunted house set up in the parking lot. I was so pissed and felt so scammed.
<span style="font-family:Tahoma">Last week on Halloween, my Psychology teacher took my class to a computer lab and we had to find an interesting haunted house story off of www.hauntedhouses.com and write an essay about it. I don't remember which one I picked, though.</span>
I love shaddowlands website, they have so much cool sh*t. as for so called haunted places in Salt Lake, I know and have been to most of them. this city apparently have a lot of them because they never tear down a building here.
Man, most of the ones for Dallas and College Station are pretty lame. They do have the Lady of White Rock Lake, which is pretty notable. They've done stories on it in on the news in Dallas. There is a story of a man dying in the Animal Industries Building on campus... it's said the elevator there runs at night because of him.Edit: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Roy Simms, a meat laboratory manager in the Animal Industries Building, was in the building butchering meat on an afternoon in 1965. On his third cut, Simms sliced through the meat he was working on and through the femoral artery in his leg. Roy Simms bled to death.According to legend, Simms' ghost continues to haunt the building.Cushing Library archives have records of unexplained noises, sightings and moving objects in the building when it is vacant.</div>Edit2: I bet you it's dark outside when people see stuff around Oak Cliff
Golden - Heritage Square - This is a type of shopping center/ amusement park that is haunted by many ghosts. One in particular is a young man who supposedly fell in love with a young girl from one of the Indian tribes that was passing through the area at the time. Some one supposedly forbid their love and as the young man chased after the girl in his horse drawn wagon he was mysteriously killed. To this day there have been stories of young girls hearing galloping, and a male voice crying out for them to wait for him. I literally live 5 minutes away from there and I have never heard a single ghost story or anything about that place. In Oklahoma:Choctaw - Choctaw Jr high - most people say that if u go there and sit in the courtyard and listen you will hear little girls playing by youChoctaw - library - Some people say if you go there at night the Books will fly off their shelves at you.I've been to both of these places also since they are right next to where my g-pa used to live, my dad went to the Jr High. Never heard of any stories from him or anyone else down there about it.
