Hawks @ Cavaliers Tonight! Atlanta Hawks (6-14) @ Cleveland Cavaliers (4-15) Saturday, December 6th, 7:30 pm Gund Arena, Cleveland, OH TV: NBATV, WUAB Previous Game Cavaliers 80 @ Clippers 90 (32nd straight road loss) Hawks 87 @ Raptors 92 Streaks Cleveland: Lost 8 Atlanta: Lost 3 Season Series Sat, Nov. 22, Cavaliers 83 @ Hawks 92 Head Coaches Paul Silas/Terry Stotts Probable Starters LeBron James/Jason Terry Ricky Davis/Boris Diaw Ira Newble/Stephen Jackson Carlos Boozer/Shareef Abdur-Rahim Zydrunas Ilgauskas/Theo Ratliff Players To Watch Carlos Boozer/Shareef Abdur-Rahim Boozer: 12.2 points, 10.70 rebounds, 1.8 assists Abdur-Rahim: 19.8 points, 9.50 rebounds, 2.5 assists Fast Fact The Cavs and Hawks are 16/17 in the NBA in scoring. (Cle 90.8, Atl 90.6) and 23/24 in points allowed (Cle 96.1, Atl 95.9) It ain't going to get any closer than that! Injury Lists Cleveland Cavaliers Dajuan Wagner Bruno Sundov DeSagana Diop - out Atlanta Hawks Terrell Brandon Obinna Ekezie Keys To The Game Cleveland - Ratliff can block shots, but Ilgauskas can abuse him down low. I attack with Big Z and try to get Ratliff in early foul trouble. Don't give Jason Terry open look from deep (easier said than done) Double Abdur-Rahim and don't allow him to operate down low. Everything else remains the same, attack the basket with no remorse and show some type of effort on the defensive end. Atlanta - Run some pick and rolls involving Jason Terry, feed the ball to Abdur-Rahim, and run the floor. Play an occasional zone to confuse the Cavalier defense and make them have to rely on mid range jump shots. The King's Take Very close game, might lean more torward the Hawks just a tad as the Cavaliers just can seem to hold on to a lead to save their lives. LeBron James must get nasty after having arguably his 2 worst games of the season. Hawks by 2 <font size="1">Please visit NBA.com</font>
the Cavaliers are at home and i think they will take this one 93-86, but i think LeBron will not have a big night, i think he will struggle, that is just IMO
Nice Preview KJ. This should be a close game but i'll take the Cavs to come out with the win. Carlos Boozer and Shareef Abdur-Rahim will be an interesting matchup.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ice Breaker:</div><div class="quote_post">Nice Preview KJ.</div> Well thanks for coming in here to show off my avatar  We need a win, bad. The Cavs start out games so well, but then just lose focus, almost like they feel sorry for a team after having a 10 point lead. Sad.
Cavs win at home, by 5 or so. I think Ricky Davis will have a big night, and LeBron will put up his stud numbers like always, 8 assists/rebounds with about 10-15 points. Boozer and Rahim will be interesting, as well as Z/Ratliff.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rudeezy:</div><div class="quote_post">No love for your Cavs at home KJ? Against the Hawks? I'll give the advantage to the Cavs.</div> I am just fed up with what I am seeing, I may be expecting them to grow up a little too fast, but these guys build huge leads, then blow it. Where is Steve Spurrier (Gator days) when you need him?!? Pad the stats, don't let up when you have the lead.
Cavs are going to win this by 13. They're at home and want this game badly. LeBron, and Miles are going to play a God-given game as well as the rest of the Cavaliers. cavs by 13

I wonder if LeBron's 4 point game is due to the fact he has hit the rookie wall. Silas may give Lebron fewer minutes in this game to rest him a bit. Good luck, & may the best team win.

Stop masking your hateful remarks. I will come at you. Hawks up 22/15 after one.
Hateful remarks? Dont you think you're being a bit sensitive? I love Lebron just as much as the next guy, & think he'll be a good player, but it seems that anything that isnt proclaiming Lebron as the "greatest rookie of all time" is taken as a "hateful remark."

Cavs up 44/42 @ the half Reef has 20 and 9 Nice team ball by the Cavs, the bench has played very well (Kapono, Miles, Mihm, Ollie) ---------- Cavs up 71/66 after 3 ---------- Cavs win 95/85 The key was Jason Kapono, scoring 16 off the bench, Darius Miles also scored 15 off the the pine. Shareef Abdur-Rahim had 43 and 12 Great team win, the Cavs finished this game very strong. Full story and box score coming. PS: TimFlem, you almost had the game called until the last 4 sec. of the game when Atlanta's Chris Crawford his an uncontested 3 pointer at the buzzer. Great call though, you were right on the money!
Nice to see the Cavs getting a win. Hopefully Lebron can get out of the mini slump to be a player he has the potential to be.
Nice to see them win, LeBron didn't play as much and didn't do as well, but maybe less = better? I wanna see what happens if they play him like this on other nights instead of 40+ minutes.
