The rumored deal would have the Blazers sending Jamaal Magloire to the Wizards who would send Brendan Haywood and Jarvis Hayes to the Hawks while they send Lorenzon Wright, Salim Stoudemire, and Esteban Batista to the Blazers.</div> Source
Atlanta will benefit from this trade the most, if Haywood buys into their system. He's the big body defender this team has been searching for since Erick Dampier was a free agent. The Wizards get a viable replacement and unload Haywood's mood swinging attituded. In addition, Magloire only has one year left on his deal, so the Wizards would save $8M for the upcoming summer. This would position them to be a player in the upcoming free agent market. I'm trying to figure out why Portland makes this trade. From other rumors floating around, I would think they could get more for Magloire. Maybe there's some picks heading back to Portland?
That's a sweet trade for the Wizards. They need a consistent and good center to help complete the team. Magloire is former All-Star so it's gonna be a good edition. I'm excited for this.
The Wizards' bench is thin as it can get, so I don't think it they'll be willing to trade Haywood whose been on fire lately and Hayes, whose been coming off a 12 point performance. Unless if The Wizards have someone in mind in the next off-season, they shouldn't trade both of them because they're good contenders to reach the Eastern Conference finals and they don't want to mess that up.
They are no where near Eastern Conference Final contenders. I would say Chicago, Detroit, Miami, and New Jersey are ahead of the Wizards.

I think that'd be a bad trade for the Wizards, personally. Last year when the Bucks had Magloire, he bogged down our offense. Stotts wanted the guys to run, but when Magloire got the ball he'd turn it over or get us out of our tempo. He's not a good fit for a team that likes to run as much as the Wizards do, either. He's the type of guy who'd be at home in San Antonio or Utah, ideally.
