What a disappointing loss for the Celtics, but i'm really glad the Hawks are finally starting to heat up.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">BOSTON (Ticker) -- Stephen Jackson and the Atlanta Hawks withstood a furious second-half rally to win consecutive games for the first time this season.

Jackson hit four 3-pointers and scored 23 points to help the Hawks to a 100-96 triumph over the Boston Celtics, who have lost a season-high six straight games.

Jackson's 3-pointer with 55 seconds remaining gave Atlanta a 97-92 lead, but Paul Pierce hit four free throws to pull Boston within 97-96 with 20 seconds remaining.

Jackson made 1-of-2 free throws eight seconds later, giving Boston a chance to tie or win. But Ricky Davis was rejected on two layup attempts by Theo Ratliff, and Dion Glover made two free throws with four seconds left to close the scoring. </div>

Make it 6 straight losses after O'Brien. Another bad game. I don't understand why Ricky Davis has the ball with the Celtics down two with 12 seconds left. Good game by Stephen Jackson. Pierce finally broke out of his shooting slump. I'm looking for the Celtics in the lottery though. After all these trades Ainge has made, they may as well, start over and completely rebuild.
