Got this from another forum. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Apparently so according to Lee Hacksaw Hamilton of Xtra 610 in LA. He said Belkin believes that the two lottery picks are too much and doesn't want them traded. Sarver in return said that Childress should be put in place of those two picks.</div> That's worse IMO, because Childress is a player with a bright future, and the picks are lottery-protected. The Hawks organization is a complete disaster. They are moving closer and closer to being the Las Vegas Hawks.
I wouldn't worry if I were a Hawks fan. I don't believe Belkin has a choice because simply Joe Johnson does not want to be wearing a Phoenix Suns jersey next year I don't know how else to put it.
I'd much rather see the Hawks trade Childress to the Suns than two picks. One, because I don't think Childress is really that great. Two, with the two picks that they're trading away they could get players better than Childress. Three, I think it would be hilarious to have both Shawn Marion and Josh Childress on the same team, especially if Childress is starting. They've both got that hilariously retarded shot. I still can't seem to grasp how ever player in the league doesn't block them. They practically shoot it underhand.
^ lol on the shot thing. anyway, i doubt that they could get better players than childress with those picks, espically since the picks are lottery protected. and, IMO, i think Childress is awesome. he's a 5 tool player, and you don't find many of those around any more.(is "any more" one word...?)
