    I don't understand how you can fire a guy because he can't get you over the hump. That and he lost control of the locker room....then you hire his assistant? If this guy was such a good coach, why couldn't he help control the team before? This hiring is a bad move, and won't get them any further come playoff time IMO.

    Yeah firing Woodson made no sense. At least he got Atlanta to the playoffs. I really hope the Hawks take advantage of the free agent market and make some serious bids. Too much potential with the current squad.
