The Blackhawks have agreed to terms with left wing Michael Frolik on a three-year contract and defenseman Sami Lepisto on a one-year contract.

Terms of both deals were undisclosed.

Frolik, 23, was acquired from the Panthers on Feb. 9. In 28 games with the Blackhawks, he tallied 3 goals and 6 assists. In total, the Kladno, Czech Republic native finished 2010-11 with a career-high 27 assists and 38 points in 80 combined regulars season games.

He tied for fourth in goals (2) and assists (3) and shared fifth with five points in seven games during his Stanley Cup Playoff debut with the Blackhawks in April.

Frolik -- originally drafted by the Panthers with the No. 19 pick of the 2006 Entry Draft -- finished as one of Florida’s top-three goal scorers, and top-five point producers in each of his first two NHL seasons and led the Panthers in even-strength assists and points at the time of his trade to the Blackhawks.

Following the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Frolik helped the Czech Republic capture the Bronze Medal at the World Championships, collecting 3 goals and 5 points during is tournament debut. He has also represented his country in seven different World Junior Championships or World Junior Under-18 Championships.

Lepisto, 26, established new career-highs in goals (4), assists (12) and points (16) in 70 regular-season games last season with the Coyotes and Blue Jackets.

In 150 career NHL regular season games with the Capitals, Coyotes and Blue Jackets, Lepisto recorded 27 assists and 32 points. He also has 1 goal in seven Stanley Cup Playoff games with Phoenix in 2010.

Lepisto was a third-round pick (No. 66) by Washington in the 2004 Entry Draft. He played four pro seasons in Finland for Jokerit from 2003 to 2007 and has represented his country in the Olympics (2010), World Championships (2008) and World Junior Championships (2004).

Happy to see Frolik resign. Little curious to see where Lepisto goes, and if Campoli returns.
