QUOTE

In case the Hawks weren't convinced before, they know now that these Sports Illustrated cover boys from Boston mean business.
The Hawks found out the hard way Friday night when they didn't match Boston's energy and composure in a 106-83 blowout loss at TD Banknorth Garden.
The undefeated Celtics, reconstituted after a blockbuster summer trade that brought All-Stars Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen to town to join Paul Pierce, have been the NBA's most impressive team through the first week and a half of the season.
Pierce and Garnett went after the Hawks from the opening tip on both ends of the floor and never let up. Allen filled in occasionally, supplementing steady doses of Pierce on the wing and Garnett inside.
It all seemed to be a bit more than the Hawks (2-3) were able to handle as the game wore on. Fresh off a dominant showing in Wednesday's win over Phoenix, the Hawks came out of the gate fine Friday night but couldn't sustain their effort long enough to stay in the game.
"You've got to give them credit," Hawks coach Mike Woodson said. "This is the first time since we started games, exhibition season and now the regular season, that we've actually been hit in the mouth and didn't respond. Their defense picked up, and we went the other way. We hadn't done that in a long time. So in that regard, I'm a little disappointed

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

You guys have a good team, and until half of the second quarter it was a close game.
The only problem I had with the coach was that he let Lue play too much out there. He's a good shooter but defensively he's the worst.
Good luck during the season guys and hopefully you make the playoffs.

Yeah Lue is gaarbage, and a waste, but wehave the next 3 games at home, and against winnable team. The next three games could determine if the hawks are for real or not!
