http://www.ajc.com/sports/content/sports/h...05/30hawks.html I think resigning Lue will pay-off big time.
I agree, bringing back Tyrone Lue was necessary for the Hawks. I'm not convinced Joe Johnson can be the everyday PG for Atlanta, so having Lue as an option is good for this team.
Yes, I agree, because Lue was a solid, decent scorer and will be a fine point guard cause Joe Johnson was never an official point guard. I am not sure about this, but I've also heard that Lue is a decent defender. Also, he is a veteran, and can help this young team.
Ivey is going to play behind Johnson, Lue, and Stoudamire? I dont see a need for him anymore, we should trade him or atleast do something with him because I really think he'll be a good player when given a chance. I like the signing of Stoudamire and Edwards is okay, atleast we dont have to worry about who we're going to use to clog up the lane when needed.
It's official, they even have it up on the Hawks site. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">HAWKS SIGN THREE PLAYERS TO CONTRACTS Lue re-signs with Atlanta, Stoudamire inks rookie contract and free agent center Edwards comes from Indiana ATLANTA, GA (Aug. 30, 2005) -- Atlanta Hawks Executive Vice President and General Manager Billy Knight announced several transactions today, beginning with the re-signing of point guard Tyronn Lue, the signing of rookie guard Salim Stoudamire and the acquisition of center John Edwards, a free agent from the Indiana Pacers.
