So they must come into this game with same tenacity and that's to crash the boards and keep the opposition off of the offensive glass.
Do NOT Underestimate This is the NBA and it's a bery unpredictable league. The Hawks are coming off of two major wins against the defending NBA Champions the San Antonio Spurs and against a legit Eastern Conference contender team in the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Hawks are doing must be doing something right. Coming off a win against the Spurs the next team would be aware of that and not take them lightly but yet they take out the Cavs. Two majors wins are saying something, so the Sixers must not take this game as a game to build their stats on, they need to look to dominate this ball club.
Play Your Cards Right Now even though they are coming off of two big wins, this team is still a 4-16 team with no legit star threats with the exception of Johnson whom is not getting those star PPG #'s. So what the Sixers must do is come in a play fundamental basketball. There don't have to make any major adjustements to their game plan, just play fun & simple basketball which is rebound, ball movement, boxing out and so on. They just need to remeber not to underestimate because that will determine the outcome of the game. If they underestimate the Hawks, they may lose, if they take them as if they are the Pistons, this should be a very easy win.
The Sixers are hot right now. They won three straight which snapped the Wolves 5 game winning streak. Despite Iverson off night in the last game he is still hot and Webber and Korver seems to be getting things done again. I expect huge nights from Iverson, Korver and Webber. On the Hawks I see Smith, Harrington and Johnson also having big nights. When it's all said and done I see the Sixers taking this one by 12. 98-100 Sixers. <font color=""DarkRed"">MVP: Allen Iverson 35 Points(14-27 FG), 4 Rebounds, 8 Assists
AI drops 70 in this game so people will stop talking about Lue shuting AI down but Id be happier to see the team play as one like the Pistons play. Hawks have won 2 in a row against 2 good teams so they cannot be under estimated. We can hope Sixers don't do it and the Hawks think they are gonna beat us. Sixers win this one by atleast 15

Hopefully the 76ers won't struggle against the Hawks, because the 76ers are the better team. But I definitely agree that Philly cannot under estimate the Hawks. Whenever the 76es distribute the ball with the team, they play better then when they get huge nights from just AI and Webber. So Korver, who has been hot has to continue, and Iguodala needs to do the same. Also, what happened to Steve Hunter? Hopefully he can start playing a role off the bench because he was very good for the 76ers when he was getting the starting minutes.
This should be an easy win, but the Hawks have some momentum right now, but they also probably are tired coming off of their game against Cleveland last night. Still Sixers should outrebound the weak Hawks front court and win by +10. I'd like to see us above .500
Only 18 seconds left we are up by four we got bailed out by the youth of the Hawks they picked up a technical when they where within one point. We should be up by a lot more, but we took the Hawks lightly and they have put up a fight. This team is going to be a force in the future as their talent grows and matures.
The 76ers are 9-0 when out rebounding their opponents, they were not as balance scoring wise, but when your playing teams such as the Hawks who often struggel, you can have two playes doing a lot of scoring. I have been impressed with Shav, whenever he plays a decent amount of minutes he makes a good impact in the game. This game, he has 12 rebounds off the bench and that definitely helped the Sixers. Tonights game is against the Heat, the 76ers struggled containting Wade the last time. But hopefully this time it will be a different story as the 76ers have Dalembert back. I think since J Williams wasn't playing last game, Wade was able to control the ball a lot more then what he usually would. If Williams plays then his role may change a bit and he may not be affecting the game in the same manner as he did the last time he played the 76ers.
