Despite numerous teams being interested in Doleac, whom the Hawks just acquired in the Nazr Mohammed, the team elected to waive the 6?11 center instead on Wednesday. Should Doleac clear waivers, the Hawks are still on the hook for the remainder of his salary and his cap number, but with so many interested parties, some of which are playoff contenders, it?s more likely that the team will not be responsible for that money.</div> Full Story.

Doleac will end up on some team before the end of the season. He is a solid mid-range shooter for a big man. And can be a pretty solid back up when heathly. He had to play alot of back up center in NY, but I think he is best suited as a PF, so a team in the need of bigman help will pick him up. You never know he might end up back with the knicks for cheap but I doubt it.
I remember when Doleac was drafted, they said the NBA would just be his meal ticket to get into Med School. Maybe he should consider a career change and do something more productive than playing left bench in the NBA.
