Impressive win on the road to the hot Wizards. Marvin had 32pts, joe Johnson 22pts 5reb 8ast, J Smith 16pts 14reb 4ast, Childress had 11 reb. It was a great game! now we're 2 games above .500!
I was so impressed by this game. We saw great playing from the starting line up and just great team basketball. They are also 1 game behind the Raptors, which scares me a little. Mike Woodson, if he wins more then he loses this month, should win coach of the month, IMO.
I'm not in the least surprised. I had the Hawks pegged as THE breakout team this season. While people were talking about the Blazers and Oden, I pointed out the Hawks had about the same record last season, a core of solid lotto picks, Joe Johnson, and added a couple of players in this draft who could help them a lot.
