Hopefully these individual workouts pan out. The Hawks have got 3 draft picks this year and hopefully they go to good use and we draft some useable players. I think the Hawks should draft Marvin Williams with the #2 pick, and take Julius Hodge or Luther Head with the 31st pick and take Rawle Marshall with the 59th pick if he's there. All think all of those players could help the franchise and especially the second rounders, they could all be great players off the bench for the Hawks or atleast upgrades compared to the ones they got right now.

why marvin over chris paul? i want us to get chris paul. IMO he will have a better career and he can help the hawks quicker because it will take marvin 3-4 years to develop. this guy only averaged like 9 points at north carolina and he didnt really dominate other sf's and pf's. on the other hand chris paul was freshman of the year in the acc and was doing really good against other pg's in the acc.

I have swaying opinions but in the long run I do think that Marvin Williams will be the better player, Dont get me wrong Chris Paul will be good and heck Paul is one of my favorite players at the collegiate level, if thats a word, and I'd be happy to see him as a Hawk but I know were not going to the playoffs next year unless we get a huge free agent signing or one of these guys is 10 times better than we thought.

Why would you want them to select another wing player with their 31st pick? I mean you got Childress, Smith, Harrington (F), Diaw, and possibly now Marvin logging huge minutes, and you want to select another one? You're better off taking a big like Turiaf, David Lee or even a big like Jason Maxiell. Even if you choose not to select a big, atleast look at a PG like Williams, Ewing, Robinson, Gilchrist etc.
