Toledo transfer forward Hayden Humes has been granted a waiver by the NCAA to play immediately at UIC next season, the school announced on Wednesday. Humes, a 6-foot-8, 220-pound power forward, left Toledo following last season after the program was penalized three scholarships due its APR. He transferred to UIC in May and appealed to the NCAA for a legislative relief waiver. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.
