One thing that was apparent in watching former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye flail away like a hopeless amateur against the highly skilled IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko last weekend is that Haye is badly in need of a new trainer. Haye didn’t have any real game other than his wild pot shot attack. He showed no ability to fight on the inside or throw combinations in this fight. Haye has been fighting for a long time and should have learned all these things early on in his career from his current trainer Adam Booth. Since Booth is already talking about getting out of the sport and retiring, Haye needs to seriously consider dumping him and looking for well known trainer that can teach him some new things and expand on what he already has.
