I don't even know anybody with one right now. Otherwise I would have gone and checked it out. The one thing that I believe is, it still has commercials, which is half of the appeal of satellite radio.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but Satellite Radio has commercials just like regular radio. It's one of the reasons I just ended my relationship with XM, other than their "merger" with Sirius was a complete and total clusterfuck.

Oh, and if you want all of my XM hardware, which is Car Compatible, PM me. I got all the bells and whistles and I'm looking to deal.

Oh, and to the original poster, HD Radio isn't all that great, yet. Just like FM radio wasn't all that great for the first 20-30 years. But it may take off.

The music stations on Sirius don't. Not sure what is going to happen with that with the merger though.

The only stations with commercials are the commercial stations like ESPN... that always run them. The purely satellite stations have none. For now. But, that's what they said about cable TV- there would never be commercials. Last time I checked it's more commercials than show.

You have to have a bubble to burst first.
