...Raiders hired Jack Del Rio who is now lobbying for Mark Trestman to be his OC...with the progression of Carr, Mack, and some of the other young talent, things are looking optimistic for the first time in several years. ...now, if they can somehow sign Suh as a FA, and perhaps another RB, they're not that far away....Or of course, my hope is that they'll draft Todd Gurley with their first pick in the draft. He played like a monster for the Dogs and is a "can't miss" talent. ...Silver and Black...on their way back.
While I've never been a "Raiders Fan", I always liked and respected the franchise. Really enjoyed their great teams and liked their style and it seems like I've been scratching my head for years wondering why it's taking so long for the The Raiders to field a consistently good team again. We watch the Broncos, Chargers, Steelers continue to be very competitive teams and something's missing - The Raiders. Obviously finding a genuine franchise QB has been a major problem. Lol, having the Raiders MIA really bothers me on occasion.
Thanks for the videos. Yep, with the Hiring of Del Rio, and a few minor additions, as noted Gnurley, or others. This gives the Silver and Black,a great Coaching Staff (how many ex-head coaches do they have now)? Personally IF they could land Amari Cooper, or T.J. Yeldon BOTH, I'd say in 2 years, Oakland will be in the Playoffs. I do honestly believe it can happen, with simply additions of the perfect elements. But then there are indeed a ton of talented RB's this year, IMO. I think Carr is the real deal, moreso than his bigger Brother, no doubt. McFadden was the most exciting RB/Flanker to play during his tenure as an Arkansas Razorback....! Now if my Pack can kick some SeaHawks asses. I despise Pete Carroll the way the Chicken Shit fled L.A. the night prior to the NCAA going public with USC sanctions. A true Chicken Shit, but then he'd be lynched if he would of stayed. All us Southern Cal peeps can say is good fkng riddance Petey..
...Yeldon is another good RB option...and yeah, another solid WR will help Carr a lot and Cooper is a good choice but I've read that they're more likely to acquire a taller and more experienced receiver through free agency. ...as far as McFadden, yes, he was a monster at Arkansas but has been a big disappointment in the NFL...the Raiders will likely part ways with him and M. Jones Drew. ...I was actually impressed how good Carr's numbers were and how few mistakes he made as a rookie, especially since they had the worst running game in the league (I think) and he was constantly behind because the defense was so poor at times.
