Oh no. You don't get off thst easy! Portland goes all the wsy to the MLS Finals for the second time in fouf years and you'd rather be doing something eöse! BOOO THIS MAN, GUYS!! BOOO THIS MAN!!!
I love playing soccer, played in some of the elite leagues in the northwest in middle school and high school. I don't really watch MLS at all, I watch the world cup, but American soccer isn't all that interesting to me. This thread was about the 1977 Blazers championship. I've got nothing bad to say about the Timbers or there fans. Also lots of fun playing with my kids.
In my time I''ve noticed when clubs are winning, people usually throw preconceived notions out the window. And since this is hardly Boston, even the locals who hate soccer can't afford to be picky.....
Timbers could probably win the mls for the next 20 years and I wouldnt watch it lol. Its not that Im anti-soccer, I just have 0 attachment for them. So yeah I can be picky lol.
No problem. In fact, if there's a victory parade I'll send you a case of prune juice to whatever barren dark room from an O. Henry short story that your in.
Great all that fiber will be good for me. I'm not quite sure why I've never been able to get myself to care about the Timbers, it's a little weird. I like soccer, I'm from Portland, I should in theory have something there. I work with a lot of people who love them and know less about soccer than I do. Just haven't been to create that attachment to them like most people have with their sports teams. Not being sarcastic, I'm glad it brings some excitement for other people around here.
