Ford is finished for the season, if not for good, the Bucks could get involved with the Heat in a deal involving Amityville's Mike James and Toni Kukoc, both of whom would help the Heat. Trading those two players right now, doesn't make much sense. Both have expiring contracts, and I doubt the Heat offer much for either player, it might even be hard to squeeze a draft pick out of them for Kukoc and James.

Not sure why they would trade James...unless they want someone like Keyon Dooling back, I'm not even sure if they would give Keyon up for James.

Hot rumour right now from Chad Ford is Redd to Denver for Nene. I wouldn't be opposed to that, IF the Bucks know for sure, or have a good idea that he's not returning.

I read the Nuggets are tentative on dealing Nene because they are thin in the frontcourt. Especially with Camby's history of injuries, they are reluctant to deal Nene. There's a reported 3 way deal in the Cavs forum involving the Hornets as the third team. The Bucks would lose KVH & Redd, and acquire Baron Davis in that deal.

the trade rumors arwe officially brewing. I think mike james could help pressure the ball for the heat. Tony could just give them some vet depth.

If we could get some draft picks or some young talent from Miami, I would be all for trading James and Toni. Toni is nothing, but a big stiff body now, and is racking up the DNPs. Mike James is a decent backup, pretty good defender, but struggles with turnovers and making dumb desicions have cost the Bucks this year. I do agree that we would need to someway get a PG. But if we can get draft picks, young talent or even more expirings, I'd do it. Kukoc and James both won't be back next year most likely.

But who do the Heat have the Bucks would want?

All I know is that the Bucks need another GOOD big man and a good PG. I dont know who Bucks would be going for in Miami... Butler, E Jones, Damon Jones (again)??? I would like to see Jones back, he is a great PG and I miss him in Milwaukee this year. Jones to Desmond oops are priceless. Eddie Jones is nothing now though imo.

It would be sad to see Redd go... but I think we can get someone much better than Nene. Redd will be one of the best guards in the game in another year or 2. He's still very young. As for Kukoc, I used to like him but he's old now. And Im thinking if Ford doesnt look like he'll play next year to just drop him, hes just a burden on Milwaukee.

PS - This suns/spurs game is amazing! Amare just put it down AGAIN!!!

The first person I would go after is Dorrell Wright. I'm sure the Heat would be reluctant to give him up, but the Bucks need young talented players. The Heat also have Rasual Butler and Kenyon Dooling, who might interest the Bucks. Both are young, with cheap salaries and they produce when they get playing time. The other direction to take would be to grab some expiring contracts, Wesley Person, Malik Allen, and Christian Laettner are players with those.

Dorrell Wright came to mind when I looked at their roster, but I really think the Heat are high on him and I wouldn't see them giving him up.
