Among those being considered in the wake of Jones' departure is former Heat guard Eddie House, a free agent after finishing last season with Sacramento.

I hope we bring in Eddie House instead of Casey Jacobson. House is more of a point guard and that is what we need right now.

Insider mentioned they are taking hard look at Jay Williams as well. He had a workout and the Heat liked what they saw. Having two players named Jason Williams in the backcourt should be fun.

I've been wondering about Jay Williams, does anyone know how good he is now?
