<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>With point guards getting scooped up via free agency, it is becoming more and more likely that the Heat will have to deal Shawn Marion if they want an elite playmaker, according to HoopsWorld.

Targets could include Andre Miller, Kirk Hinrich, or Monta Ellis.

However, they might avoid trading him to a conference foe like the 76ers or Bulls because it could prevent them from making the postseason.</div>

My thoughts too Locke, none of those dudes are elite. Last I checked Wade is more of an elite playmaker than any of them. Besides isn't 'dre pretty old? If the Heat trade Marion for Andre Miller, then they basically traded Shaq for Andre Miller. LOL.

I'll be honest I thought Monta Ellis was strictly a SG

He's a combo guard. He's still got a long way until he becomes a good playmaker/point guard. He's a decent point guard for now, but he's a great shooting guard.

I'm not sure if my comparison is dead-on, but I always see Ellis as a Wade-type of player. If that's the case, it wouldn't make much sense for Miami to target him when their looking for an "elite" point guard.

LOL Wade an elite playmaker? I didn't know elite PG meant 4.39 turnovers a game.
