Jones scored 26 points and Brian Grant led a late surge to lift the Heat to a 85-77 triumph over the New York Knicks, their second straight victory. The Knicks held a 76-75 lead with 3:54 remaining before Grant scored six of his seven points in a game-ending 10-1 run to help the Heat improve their all-time record in New York to just 8-27. The starters struggled and actually were outscored by the bench, 39-38. Marbury had a terrible night, as did the entire Knicks team. The Heat are really looking like they want to win, and Rafer Alston has just outplayed two of the NBA's best point guards in consecutive games - Jason Kidd and Stephon Marbury. Caron Bulter seems to be back to form, Eddie Jones did great, and it was just another day at the office for Odom. Good game.
finally they played a fourth quarter lke they wanted to win in a game that mattered... this should give them a lot of confidence against the knicks... props to skip, he's really hanging with the best... the next four games are winnable and then there's a chance to prove ourselves against detroit.
