I am in shock, this was the best Heat game of the entire season. The Heat dethroned the Kings 102-96 in a total upset. This just once again proves you can never underestimate any team in the NBA, any team on any given night can walk out of the arena with a W. Because of this total shocker, we are now tied with the Celtics for 7th place which is great. The Celtics are on a win streak right now and that will without a doubt end very soon.

Lamar Odom simply dominated this entire game coming up with his first triple double as a member of the Miami Heat and this is his 8th triple double of his career. He had 30 points, 19 boards, 11 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. Lamar just absolutely dominated this entire game, C-Webb in particular. He was just huge, coming up with rebound after rebound, it just never stopped, he's a monster.

Skip was just superb tonight and came up huge with 20 points, 7 boards, 7 assists, 2 steals, and a mere 2 turnovers going 3-8 from beyond the arc. He is currently theonly player in the NBA to make at least 1 three-pointer in I believe 32 straight games, it might be more but I know it's at least 32. The majority of Odom's assists were directly to Skip.

Both Udonis and Rasual each had 17 points and played a huge role in this game. Udonis converting on numerous three point plays after getting fouled, he's fantastic, he also had 7 boards. Rasual came up huge tonight shooting 3-7 from beyond the arc, when the score was close, Rasual was the driving force that pulled us ahead all thanks to Lamar's spectacular performance in the paint. Rasual also had this huge highlight tomahawk slam on a fast break, just awesome.

Eddie Jones, while he was not great offensively, he did come through with some clutch free throws at the end of the game and he played some very hard defense on Peja, holding him to a mere 14 points which is less than half of his season average.

Brian Grant had a terrible performance with 0 points and 8 boards, although I guess he did his job since those 8 boards came with him being on the floor for only 18 minutes.

Caron had 8 points, 7 boards, and 2 assists shooting 3-10 from the field. I love Caron and nothing against him, but he just has not come up big for us this year. He's had a couple of great games, but for the most part he's just not been up to par. Rasual has proven night in and night out coming off the bench that he can get the job done, and this season Rasual is outperforming Caron. Stan should make the decision and start Rasual at small forward with Caron coming off the bench for Caron.

This is a huge win for the Heat and it could not have come at a better time. When players from the league go home tonight and check the stats of the other games around the season, you can be guaranteed there will be a few double takes when they see the result of todays Kings @ Heat upset [IMG]. This was the best game of the season, WE were the ones who set the pace of the game and we were the ones who controlled it.

This game is one for the highlights, make sure you watch SportsCenter tonight [IMG]. Our next game is against Orlando on Tuesday which should really help us break that tie with the Celtics in 7th.

30-19-11!!!!!!! And we are in 7th place!!!

LAMAAAARRRRR ODOM! Dude was a beast. I think is the first time a Heat player had a triple double. At least i can't remember one. And against the Kings, not the Hawks or the Bulls! This was for me the best game this season. I'm telling you, if you ask ppl today about putting on a Marlins-like run, they'll believe it. Skip and Rasual were great for the second night in a row. Haslem shot a bunch of free throws and only missed one. They only played seven players i think - Odom and Skip were on the game almost the whole time. After this W, I don't want to see Knicks, Celtics or Cavaliers above the Heat on anyone's list. LET'S GO HEAT!

Beautiful. I'll take any loss by the Queens as a plus! I just saw Odom's stat line, amazing, he did it all for the Heat. Here's some interesting trivia for Odom's Triple Double tonight ..

The Heat's stretch of 739 games without a triple-double was the longest in the NBA. Utah now has the longest at 390. ... The last Heat player to record a triple-double was Billy Owens on Jan. 5, 1995. ... Sacramento's other Eastern Conference losses were at Boston and at New York on Nov. 7 and Nov. 9. ... The Kings fell to 3-13 in Miami. They last won in Miami on Dec. 9, 2001.

LAMAR ODOM you're amazing buddy, I mean a triple double is always nice, but a triple double when you also shoot good, score 30 points and grab 19 rebounds is just sick.

The Heat really needed this one, I mean when looking at their chances of making the playoffs, you would've consisdered this a game that they would lose. Great game, no they just have to hope Milwaukee comes back on Cleveland.
Rafer had a pretty good game, didn't shoot that well, but 20, 7 and 7 is always good.

Again, the hidden performer is Rasual Butler, 7-15 and 17 points, Haslem missed 2 free throws actually, but he also did very good, 17 points and 7 boards, GREAT game.

Lamar Odom... there better not be anymore doubts of getting him now!!!

Caron isn't coming big this year cause he's not the lone star, but his big defense is what keeps him on the starting lineup.

This W is amazing... I came hoem from basketball and I checked teh score and was in shock, my jaw dropped!!!!!! i was like noooo waayyyy

The Heat were great last night. Lamar Odom, I don't think anyone should be doubting him anymore. He is finally showing how good he can be when he's fully healthy. He was absolutely fantastic last night. He is now looking to be an absolute fantastic pick up and worth the 60mil they gave him.

Of course Lamar deserved to be an all-star this year... damn he shoulda been. I think he's a guaranteed all-star next year. I hope we can keep Skip til next year, he's turning into a great player and has a good relationship with SVG.

He deserved it, he's outplayed my expectations for this season that i had for him when he was signed. This guy has been great.
