The Heat were unstoppable against there division last season. I understand its not a very very competetive division but last season they did well against their division. Correct me if im wrong but i think the only loss they had against any team in their division was a 1 point loss against the Bobcats. Now the SouthEast Division consists of: Miami Washington Orlando Charlotte Atlanta You guys think that next season the Heat will win all games in the regular season against teams in there division?? If they do im sure that would go to the history books.
Well this new 5 team division has only been in a effect for 1 year so far. It was a lot harder to go undefeated in your division before when their were a lot more teams in each one. But I think most likely they will go undefeated in their division next year. The only way I see them losing is if they experience key injuries or are upset like they were last season.
The Heat should've done it last season but they were playing with their heads up their --- against the bobcats. They did everything possible to lose that game. From what I remember: poor defense, poor decision making, turnovers throughout the game, a crucial turnover in the last minute of the game, and incompetancy by Wade in the final posession of the game where he should've made an easy 2pter to tie but didn't realize we were only down by 2. Instead he went for an akward desperation 3. That play pretty much summed up where the team's heads where that day. This year's team should get it done though even with the improved SouthEast division.
I think the Heat can certainly do it, but the chance of it happening is not so good because in any one game, one of the Southwest teams might have a lucky game and the Heat might have some tough shooting nights. Oh yeah, if Damon Jones doesn't resign for the Heat, then who is our perimeter shooter?
