I know that Shaq was a front runner for the MVP award but who do you think has been more important to the Heat this year? I think that Dwyane Wade is our MVP because of what he has done so far in the playoffs and how he was such a great player for us in the regular season. I think that even without Shaq, the Heat would have had a successful year because Dwyane Wade would still have been on the court playing great like usual.

So who do you guys think is the Heat's MVP or most important player?

Dwayne Wade!!! Wade has been playing like Michael Jordan, if not, BETTER! He is one of the best of the NBA. Without Shaq, the Heat are still awesome. Without Wade, theyre good, but not great.

    Vote: Wade

has good as jordan? better? you're high arent you. the kids got amazing talent, and he's going to be great, thats for sure. but dont compare him to the b-ball god yet, he deserves better than to be yet another "next mj"

shaq is the mvp, he makes them go.

    Shaq for the regular season,

    BUT

for the playoffs (and Shaq on the bench) is there any doubt that it should be Wade?

Shaq will have his opportunity to be the MVP yet, but right now you're crazy if you don't think it's Wade.

I would have Wade and Shaq as co-MVPs. Both players either carried the Heat in turns or at times together. It's unfair to name one over the other, but if you're talking about the playoffs, it would definitely be Wade. For the regular season (which I assume this is), it will be both Wade and O'Neal.
