You can thank Avery's substitution of Van Horn for that statistical thing. Every time Mourning went into the game Avery substituted Van Horn. Dampier would've matched up better to Mourning imo.
I don't really get this....stats are a good way of measuring some things with basketball but that totally disreguards the HUGE fact that Shaquille O'Neal is probably the biggest distraction out on the court. When his body is in the paint around the basket it absolutely just throws the opposing defense into a tailspin. Although I guess it somewhat interesting.
