Butler, a 6-foot-7 small forward and a second-round draft pick in 2002, averaged 6.8 points and 1.4 rebounds in 45 games last season. He also led the team in 3-point field goal percentage (.463), ranking second all-time on the team's season list.

He has averaged 7.2 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists in two seasons with the Heat.</div>

Well we need players, I'm happy he was resigned, and frankly everyone xpected him to be because the Heat could match anything up to 4.5 million, and no one is paying that much for Rasual.

He could get the starting job this year, don't know yet, but he can shoot, his defense isn't bad, he's just not that strong, and he needs to work on his slashing abilities.

I don't believe Dorrel Wright is NBA ready yet, he's only 18 years old and he certainly isn't another LeBron. Rasual has terrible defense though and the only thing he is really good for is instant offense and trey's off the bench, so I really think we'll make another acquisition at SF before the season.

I don't think his defense is that bad, he tries, but yea he's mostly for instant O, and trey's, maybe he'll improve though.
Anyways, I'm hoping he wasn't paid too much because this summer's signings have been so big that I wouldn't be surprised :P

Well, I wouldn't mind a leaky defense if I've got Shaq who can guarantee a high-percentage shot most times down the court. Besides, Rasual could score, and if he isn't starting at small forward, who would on the Heat roster?
