http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1675293 <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Miami Heat signed center Wang Zhizhi to a multiyear contract Monday and waived forward Tyrone Hill. The 7-foot-1, 284-pound Wang appeared in 43 games in parts of two seasons with the Clippers, averaging 4.3 points. He had four points and one block in two games this season while playing behind Predrag Drobnjak and rookie Chris Kaman. Hill signed with the Heat on Nov. 7. He appeared in five games, averaging 1.8 points and 1.6 rebounds. </div> So Hill is without a team again.I'm not totally sure what Wang can bring to the Heat.
Wang used to be China's main man. He was a monster during Asian games. I really don't know what happened to him.
It's about time we got a *real* center. Don't get me wrong, Brian Grant is great, but he isn't cut out to be a center, Wang is going to fill the void we have had ever since Zo became inactive. I'm going to the Sixers vs. Heat game this Friday, I wonder if Wang is going to be playing.
Here is his player profile on NBA.com with all his career highlights: http://www.nba.com/playerfile/wang_zhizhi/...x.html?nav=page Pretty cool wallpaper I found of Wang... http://origin.nba.com/media/draft2002/zhizhi_1024x768chz.jpg Yao vs. Wang!
ZhiZhi has still yet to play even one minute, but they better start him when the Rockets are in town .
Damn, watch Tyrone come back to Philly. This was being talked about in Philly a week ago, and this would be the third time on the team. Here's his adventure since 01. Philadelphia> Cleveland > Philadelphia > Maimi > ??? (hopefully not Philly)
