Haven't had time lately too post much because of work but we are pwning them! Oh man, how much things have changed since that season opener. 94-62 currently, with 3:34 left. Eddie Jones is amazing.
<div class="quote_poster">I-Miss-MJ Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah a lot has changed. We are still 4th and use are still barely in playoffs. huge difference.</div> Who's use? And yeah, things have changed, if you are comparing this game to the first. Can't handle a blow out can you?
We've still got three wins on the Heat...I'll give the Heat credit where it is due...the Bulls obviously were not playing with the right attitude and lost.
Same thing will happen tomorrow against Orlando for us...we can't do anything against big men who can score.
Huge win for us. I'm impressed with how we've stepped it up playing without Wade. Our defense has really improved since we got EJ. If Eddie Jones can keep shooting like this and Shaq keep dominating, then I can assure you we can still compete in the playoffs, with or without Wade.
<div class="quote_poster">P.A.P. Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Who's use? And yeah, things have changed, if you are comparing this game to the first. Can't handle a blow out can you?</div> Use would be Miami. I can handle a blow out just fine. And what has changed?
Great win for the Heat, they played well without some key players. The Bulls came in lazy tonight and ultimately it cost them the entire game in a blow out. I'm sure Skiles will be on them all evening in preperation for the Magic game tomorrow night.
<div class="quote_poster">I-Miss-MJ Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Use would be Miami. I can handle a blow out just fine. And what has changed?</div> Then why do you sound so sour? Instead of criticizing your own team in a blowout, you make sarcastic remarks about the what's happened. Well just look how good how the heat play with their superstar, and a key player in Kapono. We couldn't beat you with a healthy squad and now we beat you with a depleted squad. Doesn't take a scientist to see that. And I could care less about what has changed about the Bulls, it's regarding the Heat's improvement and being able to play without key players.
<div class="quote_poster">I-Miss-MJ Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">bravo for picking tone on a forum... and why would I criticise the Bulls here?</div> Oh yes because people don't go on other forums game threads to talk about their own teams. Matter of fact, why even post at all? I'm going to leave it at this, don't want the thread to go OT.
Heat are rolling since Wade went down with an injury. They've beat the top teams in the East this past week (Washington, Detroit, & Chicago) convincingly. Antoine Walker and Eddie Jones have really stepped up in Wade's absence.
The Heat have been very impressive since Wade's absence, having beat four of the top teams in the Eastern Conference in Clevland, Detroit, Washington and Chicago. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah a lot has changed. We are still 4th and use are still barely in playoffs. huge difference.</div> Yes a lot has changed in the East because we're moving up the standings and that "huge" difference between us is only 2 and a half games so it's not as huge as you think. Just give credit where credit is due, we totally out played you guys last night. Also, our defense has been awesome the last few games and that is why we're winning. I think the Heat picking up EJ was the best in-season move any team made this year. He's shooting the ball very well now and he's playing tremendous D. Posey was amazing taking 6 charges last night but he has also been causing many turnovers that lead to fast break opportunities for us. Toine has been very efficient lately as well and that's also something that has us rolling. We may be the hottest team in the East right now and can definately make a push for one of the home court spots in the East.
I've given credit where credit is due for the Heat in this game, but I wouldn't gloat about the win too much after we stomped you guys in 3 of 4 previous matches. I will say as I have before though that no one should count out the Heat come Playoff time. They are the defending NBA champs afterall. The Bulls and Heat have a nice rivalry going in the East. I'd like to see that continue again coming into the Playoffs this season. Perhaps this time in the Confernce finals.
Since Wade has been injured, Miami has been 5-2 with Shaq averaging 21.1 PPG, 9.3 RPG, 4.1 APG on 61% shooting. Shaq of 5 years ago? Defintely not, but he's still clearly the best C in the East.
