NEW YORK, Feb. 11 -- Miami Heat head coach Pat Riley has been fined $20,000 for publicly criticizing game officials to assembled media, it was announced Tueday by Stu Jackson, NBA Senior Vice President, Basketball Operations. The incident occurred following the Heat’s 101-87 home loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on February 5 in Miami.
When the Heats use to win 50 games a year he never was fined but know its just because the heats are playing so bad.
He didn't complain this much about the refs back then. After every game he's spouting out the difference in foul calls on each team and coming up with conspiracy theories.
Riley's fine Well with a coach like Riley, he has to blame somebody else, it couldn't possibly be his impeccable coaching, now could it???? LOL :roll:
