This weather is freakin insane! I can't take 5 steps outside without breaking a sweat. Today it was about 48 degrees celcius with humidity (about 118 degrees fahrenheit). I love going outside and hanging out with friends, but I can't help but stay in with the air conditioner. How is everyone else dealing with the weather?

You think that's bad? I've been offloading trailers full of fridges, sofas, etc. the last month or so. It's like 5-10 degrees hotter in there. Today it felt like it was 55 Celsius. I have to drink a bottle of water every hour. I'm just glad I'm quitting in a week.

Its been about 65-70 this last week in the San Francisco area. Last week it was in the 90's all the time though, even hotter inside the house since we dont have air conditioning.

I think it was 101 today in Brooklyn. I'm not used to it being so hot, I broke a sweat just by walking. The whole past week or so was very hot. Can't remember the last time summer was as hot for as long.

I used to play soccer outside for like 3 hrs everyday before but now I'm backing off....I just workout and train for soccer indoors in my house now...its wayyy too damn hot outside. Glad I'm not working at a place like Churtney's (sorry dude [IMG])...I worked at a factory some time before in the summer and it was hell, and it was only like 25 degrees that day...I can't imagine it when the weather is this humid.

For all the Americans using farenheit, I don't exactly know how to convert and I'm too lazy to look it up, so any one know how much 101 degrees farenheit would be in celcius? I can't imagine being in Georgia or Texas right now...wow...

Over here its not uncommon for temperatures to hit the 40's. The hottest day I've ever experience was 49?C, that was back in 1999 if I remember rightly. On average, its about 33?C every day where I am over summer. Even during Winter its still like 20?C ever day.

    Junoon, 101 farenheit = 38?C

It's been hot over here for the last couple of days, but yesterday night it rained, so it's not hot or sunny this mourning.

Just been chilling in the crib for the most part. Took a walk around my neighborhood yesterday and stopped in mad stores for the AC. I usually try to play ball everyday, but haven't since Saturday, which is pretty much a long time for me.

Highest I got was 118, then you add in the humidity that SoCal was feeling, it felt about 125 F here. It was DISGUSTING.

Did you know that global warming a hoax scare tactic? They used the same thing with global cooling back in 1972. This time it's all about a big attempt to convince people that polluting makes the weather hotter when the truth is that it burns holes in the atmosphere, which makes UV rays more dangerous to our skin, wildlife, and the environment. It doesn't cause heat waves as that is caused by weather change in the sun's strength. The sun's current dispersion of more "active" materials is what's causing the world's temperature to rise. It's all a natural occurance that happens and in a few years from now people will forget all about it and find something new to worry about.

Still, either way it is a good scare tactic to prevent mass pollution worldwide from getting worse, but it doesn't cause global warming. Most of our records for the world's hottest days were actually set in the early 1900's. Times before that we actually had no records and people back then wrote of perfuse days of mass heat waves and death otherwise. The heat wave in Europe killed 38,000 people because only 1 out of 10 people have AC over there since prices are ridiculously high to afford and maintain one and the majority of deaths were the elderly who do not have AC in their retirement centers or homes. Also children of course, but that’s because they are more delicate to the environment than an adult.

As I've mentioned, all scientific mumbo jumbo that when you go into advanced study (which is boring as hell might I add) you learn about the truth. Then you figure out what's crap lies and what's factual. Anyway the current heat wave is crap. It's so damn hot some days that I can't even leave the house. As "Bobcats" mentioned it's hard to go out for few without breaking a sweat. I can't imagine working outside in this heat and humidity though thankfully today we've felt much cooler weather in the Chicagoland area.

Oh and I find this funny; don't believe all temperatures you read on thermometers especially those near black top paving or sidewalks as they will always read higher than the temperature actually is. This is idiotically called the "blacktop factor". Remember that 96?F (36?C) can feel like it's higher with humidity. Plus when you're near a black top, sidewalk, etc it can make the temperature feel as though it's as high as 126?F (52?C). Depending on the temperature it can even feel hotter than that, but there is no way in hell it could possibly have reached 55?C in North America or Europe unless you live in Death Valley or any other low sea level environment like that. [IMG]

I hope that information clears it up and prevents some of you from going nuts thinking there will be some massive global warming problem out to melt to ice caps and kill everyone. Anyone remember the comet scare? hehe. But anyway people, I hope you all have AC or something to cool off with. Be careful out there in the blaze.

Yeah man. I seriously walk outside and you just feel a huge wave of humidity sweep right over you.

I hate the heat, I`d rather be freezing instead.

Werd. . it's been a bit more humid in the Houston area though. The heat is just what Texas is all about though!

I haven't played hardcore, no matches or anything .. but practices are rollin' around.
