Man, this guy is putting up some numbers lately. He'll be a great candidate for 6th man of the year. I guess I was wrong about him and his contract. Great pickup Weis!
His contract is still huge for someone that is going to be coming off the bench. But then again, when you think about it, there was and still is a great chance that he might end up having to start in the future. We don't know if Grant Hill is going to stay healthy unfortunately. Still, he is a definite 6th man candidate if he continues to come off the bench and give the Magic such a spark. Tonight's 4th quarter three pointer was a huge boost for the Magic and pretty much put the fork in the Mavs' comeback hopes.
Yes 15 points in 25 minutes is not bad, but his 3p% is quite low, only .231. He has always been one of the better 3point shooters. Other than that, I don't think I could complain about him.
Yes I agree about his 3 Point Percentage being low. When he was in San Antonio he was one of the league leaders. He hasn't hit as many threes this year but he is still playing great and helping lead the Magic to victory. If Grant Hill gets hurt it is good to know we have a guy like Turkoglu to take his spot and fill in for a couple games.
