Does anyone else feel like the media is trying to create this "it's closer than you'd believe" narrative? Melvin Gordon is GREAT and he is easily a top 5 player in the country but shit, Mariota is by far the best player in the country. This should be a landslide. I'm worried that the voters will vote biased toward the B1G, Like Desmond Howard... http://wisconsin.247sports.com/Bolt...in-Gordon-is-atop-his-Heisman-ballot-33583889
I usually don't care one whit about individual honors....but Mariota is an exception. He has carried this team and deserves recognition.
600 and 8 would give him a glimmer of hope for all intents and purposes this race is over and everyone knows it. A truly dominant player on one of the only dominant teams at the most important position.... over STOMP
The guy just deserves it. Not just because of this season, but because of his entire body of work. You know voters will take that into account. They know he deserves the recognition for what he has done over the past three seasons. Gordon wasn't even a name until that huge game he had a couple weeks ago.
If Obama isn't eligible to be president because he's from Hawaii then Mariota isn't eligible to win the Heisman. Notice how we've never seen Mariota's birth certificate...
I don't know how anyone could hate Mariota. Seriously, hate the Ducks but how could you hate a guy who is that humble, that reserved, and that friendly?
