help on downloading fonts.

    i downloaded fonts from the web and i dont know how to put them in photoshop. ive placed them in my fonts folder in my drive, but it still doesnt show. if you know how to, can you please help me.

    Try restarting your computer, that may work.

    If you did it right you most likely would have...

    1) Unzipped (or extracted) all files first
    2) Open your Fonts list from Control Panel
    3) Move or drag the icon with the "T" logo with the name of the font into the Fonts list

    That is how it works for me. Maybe you did that and it's just a problem with your Photoshop. That is all I could help you man.

    The way I do it (I get the same problem but with every program!) is to go to the windows/fonts directory and open up the font file... Just double click on it... I guess on my cmoputer that's how the pgorams "know" the fonts are there or verify or something... That always does the trick for me...

    ^ yeah, after you've extracted them, go to your Windows/Fonts folder and open it and it will update the fonts in Photoshop automatically.

    it's weird but that's what you have to do
