Well you have to ask yourself why would Minnesota do this deal? This is not nearly enough in return for KG, and I think the Hawks traded their 1st rounder to Phoenix in the JJ deal. The Hawks do need help, but mainly they just need time for their young players to learn how to play in the league. The lack of veterans is hurting this team, so the Hawks need to balance it out more. The Hawks should have drafted Chris Paul or Deron Williams instead of Marvin Williams. A backcourt of Paul/Deron with JJ would have the Hawks set for the next 10 seasons. Tyron Lue is not starting material, he's a nice backup, but the Hawks need a playmaker to make the game easier for their younger guys. It's too, bad Orlando is in the same division, because Jameer Nelson would look great on the Hawks.
