Hey what's up folks? Haven't been on awhile, but in one of my leagues my team looks kinda weak, I got the 14th pick out of 14 teams. I'm doing two other leagues which are better, but this team I don't know, it's a head to head league, what players should I trade to help in some categories that I'm weak on? (Dirk fell to the 9th pick in this league!! I wish I got that..) PG Jason Kidd SG Josh Childress SF Josh Smith PF Dwight Howard C Marcus Camby Util Baron Davis Util Mike James Util Pau Gasol Bench Ja. Jones Bench Jim Jackson Bench Raef Lafrentz I could have drafted Ray Allen and Joe Johnson over B. Diddy and Pau Gasol to get a better starting lineup, but I decided to go with the better players, so I'm a bit weak on those positions. I was thinking of trading maybe trying Gasol for Johnson though (Atlanta feel). I would want to acquire Dirk, he also has Iggy, who could I offer up for them, I put on the board Gasol, Bdiddy and Jim Jackson, what else could I try? Advice? I'm not in love with any of these players except Howard and Smith, the rest I'm ready to trade..
You need scoring bad. I'd package Gasol along with probably Smith and try to get Bryant or Iverson. Your backcourt is short too, you may want to trade for backcourt help. Try Luke Dinour for Childress or Jim Jackson. Just be creative. Or you'll be burned in H2h.
i had the chance to draft ridnour over childress, but i needed a sg or sf at the time and i didn't really want to add another pg so i went with childress. jim jackson i don't think he would take. iverson would be another pg (i wish he still played sg), maybe if i gave bdiddy and gasol and got a sg and sf in return. i love josh smith, i'm not going to trade him, him and dwight r the only untouchables. i wouldn't really want kobe on my team..i was thinking though baron davis, gasol, jackson for carter and lewis. i offered that up, i think that's pretty fair. but i don't think he'll accept cuz of air canada's hype. yeah at first scoring was blatantly obvious, but i decided to let that category go unless one of my trades goes down..two of the many trades i offered up: Bdiddy, Gasol, Jackson for Dirk, Iggy What do you think? i love Dirk, i hope he accepts, but i think gasol is way better than iggy and i don't really want to give davis (3's and assists), but that's the only way to get dirk i think unless i swap kidd in for davis. or i'm thinking of offering gasol straight up for joe johnson, who do u guys think is better? i should have probably drafted johnson over gasol.. OR this might be a bit of a rip off, but bdiddy, jackson for johnson, webber i want webber, so i don't know..
