Henry Admits He Is Still Adapting
Thierry Henry has admitted that he still adapting to playing for FC Barcelona and to the Spanish league and stated that he was tired of people comparing his current form to his Arsenal days.
The Frenchman scored his first goal in five league games at the weekend following a week of debate about whether he was going to be the star that he was in England. After playing in every game for Barça this season, Henry believes that he still needs more time to become accustomed to the more patient approach play employed by the Blaugrana. "Arsenal played a more direct game," he said. "It was more on the counter-attack, while here the ball is moved around more, there are more passes to the left and the right and I have to adapt to this style and that always takes time. "I have felt a certain frustration, that is true. "Playing alongside the likes of Ronaldinho and Lionel Messi I have to remember that everyone wants the ball and I am still adapting to that. "Now I am playing for another team and it is another style. I no longer play for Arsenal, so I think people have to stop comparing. "I have scored four goals and have three asists and I am trying to help the team. "It took me nine games to score my first goal for Arsenal." Support For Ronnie Henry then moved to defend Ronaldinho against a new wave of criticism after the Brazilian was substituted for the sixth time this term on Sunday. "He has been at the summit of football for a long time and he is not a robot, he continued. "He does seem to be playing so badly to me. He is a player that other teams always watch and that sense, he gives freedom to other players. "The problem is that the way he plays generates great expectations and when he is not in full flow, he appears not to be as good. But for me Ronnie is Ronnie." Against Almería at the weekend, Henry played with a minor ankle injury, but he does believe that it has hindered his progress towards returning to full fitness. "I played with some pain in my Achilles," he explained. "I am improving little-by-little, but I still need to improve my speed and my dribbling." Finally, Henry was asked what the major differences were between football in the Premiership and the game in la Primera. "The football is faster in England, but here the referees can blow their whistles as soon as you make contact with another player," he concluded.

Well people were always going to be comparing him now to his Arsenal days. I agree it was the right time for him to leave but he should have anticipated all this.

Exactly, he knows that he was the most successful at Arsenal so of course that'll come up always.

He will get better but it will be hard for him with all the strikers that Barca has. (they all need touches to be successful)

Barca are struggling with player performances recently aka Henry + Ronaldinhio

The problem with Dinho is that he knows he's going to be sold pretty soon so he has pretty much stopped playing. haha
Go to Chelsea DINHO!!!! (i don't like chelsea but having him in the EPL would be great)
