As such, the player has already been ruled out of Barcelona's squad of 18 for the reason that "his symptoms have yet to improve," according to the medical staff. It's a blow to a blaugrana side that will definitely also miss Giovani dos Santos up front, and will quite probably be without Samuel Eto'o, as well. The Cameroonian hitman is training with the first team as normal, but he's yet to receive a formal medical discharge from the club; as such, he's very unlikely to play on Saturday night.
