Send Lamar Odom and Sasha Vujacic to Philadelphia for Andre Miller and Kevin Ollie.

My friend thought of this trade, and I denied it right away. If we trade Lamar, we need a PF or SF in return. We are pretty much set at the PG w/ Farmar and Fisher. However, Ollie would improve our defense in the backcourt. If we can get Marion for Odom, I'd be all for that deal. I really can't think of any other deal involving Lamar that would make us a better ball club. JO has too many issues, so I don't think our front office even has that as an option.

A trade that I think the Lakers should look into is trading to Sactown. This team NEEDS to rebuild, so we can send LO along with Crittenton to Sacramento and in return get Artest and Kenny Thomas. Two birds, one stone, we have a starter in Thomas whose better than Brown, and isn't as turnover prone as Turiaf. Also, we get another top defender next to Kobe Bryant. MAKE IT HAPPEN MITCH!

I have an idea (not joking)

    LA and Orlando

Kobe for Rashard, Dooling or Reddick plus picks

Rashard and Odom would be like bash brothers that could compliment Bynum... Then trade or let Kwame go and resign Arenas or any other superstar!

    Both Sides will be happy!!!

LA: Farmar, FA Superstar signing, Lewis, Odom, Bynum

Orlando: Nelson, Kobe, Hedo, Dwight, Battie

At this point I'm down to trade Odom for anyone, I just want him out of the equation. We would have a ridiculous logjam at PG if we made this trade, so another deal would have to be in place unless the Lakers plan to play small-ball the rest of the season. Meaning Fisher or Miller would have to play some minutes at SG and Kobe would have to log more minutes at SF.

    PG - Fisher/Farmar/JCritt
    SG - Miller/Ollie
    SF - Kobe/Walton/Ariza
    PF - Turiaf/Radman
    C - Kwame/Bynum/Mihm

Lakers would free up an additional $5M for next summer executing this trade.

I am a big fan of Andre Miller - he'd give the Lakers a big-time assist man and a true 2nd option as a scorer. Losing Odom would leave the Lakers kind of thin up front, unless they figure out a way to play two of Kwame, Mihm, and Bynum at the same time (which may not be a bad idea).
