I actually kind of feel bad for her. Being that ignorant will surely cause hardships in her life. It probably already does but she’s too stubborn to acknowledge it and just doubles down on her nonsense, causing her to be more bitter and sullen.
I thought it was satire at first. It wasn't until I started reading the comments that I realized that she is being serious and its not a big joke. Simply put this is an article that someone wrote trying to show how intellectually superior they are to other people and instead simply showed how close minded and ignorant they really are.
I think Dr. King would be very sad too see young people do the opposite of what he fought against, segregation.

As much as it can be pointed at someone else its mainly a reminder for myself. She seems angry, and its an angry climate we live in, I can chose to return anger or I can chose to return empathy, compassion and love. When it comes to these type of things I try to be introspective, I cant make her “like white guys”, I cant make other posters on here “like me”, I can try to treat people well and when I dont I can own up to it.
I get what she was trying to say. The issue I have is she is using the same kind of closed mindedness she is speaking about in her writing. I get that, as a black woman, she is tired of white people, specifically boys/men thinking they can comprehend the struggles of African Americans. But, she assumes that the thought process of all males with white skin remain rooted in antiquated and obsolete ideals. I concede there are a given population of privileged white boys whose minds are trapped in such ways. That doesn't include all of us. Don't bro me.
I stopped reading After white boy. Was clear it would not be racially objective, but racially subjective. She is talking a out communicating issues of white men and yet calls all of them white boys. Again. In order to move forward we must acknowledge the past but not continue it like this. The longer we areguecabout the past the longer it will take to repair the future. We all know how shit went down the last few hundred years. If we want a better world, it starts with better, more respectful communication.
What’s more depressing is while reading that, knowing a bunch of college kids out there believe the same horse shit. Good for her though. Very smart and great human being all around. 10/10
