Adrian Hernandez defeated Gilberto Keb Baas to capture the WBC light flyweight belt on Saturday. The referee stopped the fight between the 10th and 11th round as Hernandez (21-1-1) steadily inflicted hits on Baas (35-21-4). Baas had won the belt last November in a surprise win over Omar Nino Romero and defended the title on February 26 against Jose Antonio Aguirre.
