There was a very quiet guy I worked with at Boeing. He had a desk and a chair right at a corner I had to frequently go around. In order to get to a printer the route there from my desk took me around this corner. I had just had eye surgery in both eyes and my eyesight was a little blurry. I kept mistakenly bumping him as I rounded that corner. I was always pressed for time in my job so I hurried everywhere. One day I bumped him while rounding the corner and he said to me "Bump me one more time and see what happens." I took that as a threat and took it up with management. I think they talked to him and moved him to another department because I never saw him again. I wasn't trying to get him fired but I didn't want to wait in order to see what happens so I took action to protect myself. Sorry, but when you said "Bump" I was suddenly reminded. Here's a warning: Don't sit at a corner that I have to go around to get from the TV to the fridge for cold beer. My eyesight is worse than ever.
Keep out from between me and my beer and I'll hardly notice you. Good grief, I hardly notice the world once I've had some of my beer.
Nah, you were accusing me of making a comment about a certain beer packing a punch. I believe you called it a certain teenage mentality.
Funny I should say that when my very description sounds like something that by all rights I should be into. Edit: Oh and for crying out loud, you should know better than most when to take me seriously and when I'm bullshitting which is most of the time.
Me? Wanker? Who do you think they invented to term to describe? Why, they even named a corner after me near I-205 just off Stafford Rd. You have to go there sometime.
Actually, I've eaten at Wanker's corner. May have even had a beer there, too. Can't remember. I also remember being bussed somewhere near there as a kid to pick strawberries. Schuber Farms, or something like that.
