It's safe to say that Shaun Alexander is going to get his long term contract by either the end of the season and I know because the Seahawks knows that if he wasn't here this season, they wouldn't even be near 7-2 and Alexander wouldn't have the great season that he has so far. Here's something you might have known but didn't really know. Shaun Alexander scores and has a higher average per game than the Ravens entire team does.
Why sign a 29 year old running back to a long term deal? Makes no sense to me. Get somebody with fresh legs.

He's shown no signs of slowing down. He hasn't been injury proned. He's like the opposite of Ahman Green right now.

the way Shaun Alexander has been playing his whole career hes earned this a long time ago, give him what he wants if i were the Seahawks i sure wouldnt want him anywhere else.
