<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">High school standout CJ Miles announced today that he has put his name into the NBA draft, having sent his paperwork to the NBA offices on Thursday. The 6-6 high school senior shooting guard is considered one of the top 3-5 prospects in his class, with an excellent chance to get into the first round. Miles averaged 23.2 pts., 11.2 reb. and 4.0 ast. at Skyline high school in Dallas, Texas this season.</div> http://www.nbadraft.net/draftbuzz039.asp Wow, another high schooler coming out. In my opinion, not ready. He can play, but he's just not really set at any one position yet.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Run BJM:</div><div class="quote_post">He knows hes not good enough. He wants those Benjamins before the NBA enforces the 18+ rule.</div>tru that a bunch of nobodies are going to be in the draft this year because they want the bling and not the talent
FYI: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> ]you type between the brackets[ </div> CJ Miles sounds familar.
I don't think he's ready for the NBA, but like already said, he probably wants to go ahead and enter before the 20+ rule is enforced.
I know very little of this guy, he played in that All American game right? Anyone have any sort of idea of what his pros and cons are?

He's one of these athletic high schoolers that can shoot, dribble, create his own shot, pass but will probably struggle guarding pros. The hype is that he can drive, dish, and shoot, kind of like Ray Allen. I don't think his athleticism is as good as Gerald Green, but his shooting guard fundamentals are supposed to be superb for a high schooler. I remember his name from some basketball magazine I was reading on college prospects.

From reading some scouting reports, it seems that he is a hell of an offensive player but will need to add strength and weight if he wants to play in the NBA. He'll be a project, but I think he'll end up being something when its all said and done.
High scoring, athletic 2guard coming from high school compared to a dominant All Star currently in the leauge. I have two words for you. Dorrell Wright. And Miami doesnt exactly have a ton of players at the 2 and the 3 who should limit his minutes like they were. Depending on who drafts him, check back in 5 years and then we'll see how good he is. Wright isnt coming off the bench or getting minutes in Miami any time in the near future. To me, it's just not wirth it, I'd rather enjoy my youth and get fine tuned for the next level. The money can wait, and not every player is a charity case, a lot are, yes, but the stories are getting old and the excuses arent new anymore on why every other Joe Blow HAS to come out now.
