The NBA have granted us a exeption for a 4th slot on the Injured list, so that we can sign a free agent.

Thus Hill will miss the remaining games (which, although annoying is good, as it means that bruise can properly heal with no stress on his shin).

Meaning we have now resinged Mark Jones.

It kind of pleases me because I really like Barret, and I was worried that Hill might just hurt himself again. I am sure the season is a write off any way, so it gives us a chance to prep up for the off season, look at our whole roster and decide one what to do. I expect to see players like Barret, Jones and Garrity given some time, maybe run plays around them and see what we can do with them or raise their trading attractiveness

Whats intersting is the Free agent/ contract senario at the end of the season:

Andre Barrett Orlando Unrestricted Free Agent
Andrew DeClercq Orlando Unrestricted Free Agent
Brandon Hunter Orlando Restricted Free Agent
Mark Jones Orlando Unrestricted Free Agent

I am unsure, but I think Augmon might look to retire this season aswell.

We should leave Declerq unsigned (I am sure that most people agree hes a waste of space, and is way to injury prone to actually ever deserve his wage), and resign the other 3. With that we should have 1 slot free on the roster and Mark Jones and Andre Barret as options for trades or future development. Both look good/decent prospects.

I think this might well play into our trading senario at the end of the season, depending one what rookies we pick up. We do have now some nice trading leverage and could see something intersting in the off season.
