<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">Grant Hill could rejoin the Magic for practice as early as March 8 and play his first game in about 15 months on April 2 at home against the Atlanta Hawks. Hill will see his doctor at Duke University on March 4 or 5. He told the Orlando Sentinel yesterday that he hopes to begin practicing at full strength with the team a few days later if all doctors and Magic officials agree to give him the green light. "I'd love to be out there by then," said Hill, who had his fourth surgery on his left ankle March 18. </div> Full Story
Man I wanted to post this. Well anyways I say Grant needs to wait and comeback during the pre-season. I don't want him to go around and hurt himself again.
I say let him play for 3 or 4 games, but no more than that. Just so he can get some playing time in before he gets completely back in shape during the offseason. Give him 15-20 mins max.
I read that if there is a slightest hint of a setback then they are shutting him down. I can agree with that. Any kind of soreness they have to shut him down. No need to risk it this season. But if he's good to go I see no reason to stop him. It's been almost a year and a half since he's been in a real game environment. I hope he plays 3-4 games, 10 minutes and shows signs of improvement. It'll only be a positive heading into the off-season and next years season. Maybe even help us sign a couple of F.A if they see him back healthy.

Other than that, it's not worth him playing this year, the Magic will not make the playoffs, so what's the point? The rest will help a lot over the summer, and as the off-season moves on he can be thrown in a few pre-season games. I'm sure this is the last run Hill will go for as far as his injury, hopefully he'll hang around for a little bit more longer, regardless.
I think I read that he said he would request to play on the summer league team. I think that would be good if we allow it.
No, the Magic are going nowhere this year, but I think it's important that he gets back on the court this season if possible. If he can get back in the game, play 20-25 minutes, regain some confidence, I think it would be great for him and Magic fans alike. Grant is one of my all-time favorite guys, he's class all the way. It's very sad that such a seemingly minor injury has sidetracked his career completely over the past four seasons. I would love to see him come back, play a handful of games, get some run in the summer league, and return healthy, ready and confident for next season. This guy deserves to have something good happen to him for a change, big thumbs down to any Magic fan who disses him.
Not this year.. I agree, Part of a Game or Two in the Summer League is ok.. But not this season.. It's to much of a risk.. If he just lets it fully heal it will work.. Zyrdunas... Yeah I am not going to bother with his last name.. But you know who I am talking about... He had the same type of surgery if I' am correct.. And he seems to be doing fine now.. So Wait it out Hill..
3 or 4 games won't hurt anything. I used to think like 0to1 about this matter, but I just want to see him a couple of games this year and hopefully give us some confidence over the summer that he will return healthy.
I agree that he should stay out for the rest of the year and just wait ot play some summer league games. Agaisnt some rookies of something. And remember his nickname Grant "Emergency Room" Hill
hahaha whatever , check out next year's final we could be playing you guys ( Kings ) , that's if you make it over the Wolves , Lakers ( full power) and Spurs and Dallas and Nuggets and Blazers and Grizzlies
