<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>John Hollinger, in an ESPN chat, works the trade machine for the Nets. While a lot of people think Jason Kidd in Los Angeles makes sense, Hollinger says the Nets should offer Richard Jefferson for Lamar Odom. Salaries work, he notes and RJ is a better SF. Hollinger thinks Dallas should deal for Kidd only ”if it costs them (Devin) Harris and NOTHING else of consequence”…not likely, he adds. As for the team’s general condition, he writes the biggest issue is Carter’s contract. -netsdaily.com</div> Source
RJ is a better SF than Odom... he's also younger... why do we do that? We're much deeper (and younger) at the 4-5 than the wings, so getting him to play PF wouldn't really help much. I wouldn't mind getting him for Kidd, but not RJ.
That would make sense if we want the Lakers to win everything. They should give us and the Grizzlies half of their profit if we did that trade.
