Utah really seems to rank high in his team formulas, he had them winning (in 5 games was it?) against us last year in the post-season, until he switched his pick mid-series.

I don't go by any stupid formulas, but I could easily see Utah finishing first, and winning the West.

No way does Utah finish ahead of us. I could probably understand if he predicted New Orleans, or maybe even Houston, but UTAH??? They don't scare me at all.

So Pau Gasol and Bynum play in less than half a season, the Lakers still almost win 60 games and somehow the Jazz, not Hornets or Spurs will prevent LA from acquiring the #1 seed? Supefluous article on Hollinger's part.

The Jazz had some horrible road losses last year and they still almost got the #1 seed. They are goin to be a real hard team to beat

I agree, but the Hornets have a young core though and I liked the Posey acquisition. If anyone were to challenge LA for #1 I think it would be them.

I think things went too good for them last year. They never had to deal with injuries and Peja has been injury plagued the last several year minus last season. If he goes down that paint is gonna be real clogged. No more easy alleyoops

I agree, that and teams will be ready for them now. They caught the league by surprise for a whole half a year. They won't have the same luxury.
