The best quote is this one..
if you ain't right [physically], don't be trying to go out there and get right on our expense. Use the people out there, then when you get right you [can] do what you do."

What is shaq talkin about.. what in the world did he do ALL year last year, its his fat ass fault they didnt win it

I will always back Shaq up and he is right once again. See the kind of shape that Shaq is in right now compared to Kobe?

BTW, who wears #8 for the Grizz?

    (someone edit this thread please)

What do u mean see the shape shaq is in now instead of kobe?? Kobe had 2 surgeries and legal issues, to take care of, last year he worked out 7 hours a day, and im sure he will now that the pre lim trial is over..
Shaq was selfish enough to have surgery right before the season, and then heal on "Company time" like he said.. You are wrong again bro!! Kobes work ethic should go unquestioned.. the question has always been what kind of shape shaq is in..BTW not til kobe matured did shaq ever win anything.. Not in Orlando Not in LA.. The lakers dont have a chance unless kobe is there.. they have NO one who can create their own shot..

lots of expletive's used by shaq. Very angry man. lol Shaq wants his team back. Kobe can't go anywhere else because, he's going to be more of a nuisance then Dennis Rodman, with all the sexual assualt stuff going on.

Gary Payton can create his own shot, and create shots for others. Malone and Shaq are also great passers, and the triangle offense doesn't rely on individual playmakers. It relies on dominance inside the post and an inside outside flow. Winning without Kobe will obviously be tougher, but Kobe will be playing, and he'll be fine. His shot might not be as consistent as last season, but Kobe can flat out ball and will work hard to get to the level he needs to be at.

ESPN just reported Shaq and Kobe are feuding again. Not good. They are going back and forth with media snipes. Shaq apparently said Opt out if you don't like me voicing my opinion as the leader of the team. OUCH.

I think Kobe will be gone after this year. He wants to be THE man, won't happen playing with Shaq. Selfish? Yes. But I respect him for that.

Bull crap, I would LOVE to play with Shaq, he would be the guy I would pick FIRST to play with over anybody.

He already has the Championship rings. Once again, he wants to be THE man. This is Shaq's team. No question about it. Just like T-Mac left the Raptors to be THE man, Kobe wants to get out of Shaq's shadow.

When the game is on the line the ball goes to Kobe period!! Kobe Drove and kicked it to horry against the blazers.. Kobe drove and kicked it to horry against the spurs when he missed.. Kobe hit more game winners last year than anyone in the league.. If the ball goes to shaq their going to foul him.. If you are saying kobe isnt the go to guy when the game is on the line you obviously didnt watch the lakers last year .. Kobe can drive and collapse the defense, and either take the shot or hit the spot up shooters..

There is no question that this is Shaq's team. Do you agree with that? Shaq is the most dominant player in the NBA. How many MVP's does Kobe have? They are both go to guys. When the Lakers were unable to get Shaq the ball in the post down the stretch they lost.

He did? I know at least 5 others who hit more big shots than Kobe last season.....Shaq and Kobe are having problems....I doubt it will last.

LA can't win without Shaq ... but they can without Kobe ...
they had the exact same conflict in 2001 .. and last couple of seasons they seemed to be friends again ..

this time it's different ... cause I feel that Kobe is going to say GoodBye to LA next summer ..

GoodBye LA ... Welcome Memphis !

Said O'Neal: "Just ask Karl and Gary why they came here. One person, not two. One. Period. ... I'm not telling [Bryant] how to play his position. I'm telling him how to play team ball."
    ______________________________________________

that sums it all up ....its not like shaq has a part to play in bringing the ball up the court and kobe is waiting in the post for the ball...Shaq would love if kobe didnt play with him

Ewww... Maybe if they change their team colors
he should go to Golden State, they dont have anybody who will be a big superstar that would take shots from Kobe, and they have cool uniforms
